Present continu: Quaranta anys de la Galeria Cànem

The exhibition shows more than thirty works by artists of all the trends with which the gallery has worked: figuration, abstraction, sculpture, painting, photography or installations. The tour begins with the work "Un sueño de ciudad" by Chema Alvargonzález, to continue with works of different artists. For the first time we can see together all these works under the exhibition Present Continu. This gives us the possibility of having a vision of creations of different artistic disciplines of the last four decades (1974-2014). We are facing a selection of creators who respond to the personality marked by the Galeria Cánem and Pilar Dolz, a woman accustomed to fight against the obstacles. It is therefore the fruit of many years of passion and work, the result of an accurate and risky look, of rigour and coherence. For that reason, and as it can not be otherwise, this exhibition is also the homage to his contribution to the world of art in the city of Castellón.
